Morocco will face, in its first match, Croatia; 2018 World Cup's runner-up, before playing against Belgium and Canada.
The draw ceremony was chaired by the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, and FIFA President Gianni Infantino, in the presence of delegations representing the qualified countries.

Group A: Qatar - Ecuador - Senegal - Netherlands.
Group B: England - Iran - United States - European Play-off (Wales - Ukraine or Scotland).
Group C: Argentina - Saudi Arabia - Mexico - Poland.
Group D: France - Play-off 1 (Peru - UAE or Australia) - Denmark - Tunisia.
Group E: Spain - Play-off 2 (New Zealand - Costa Rica) - Germany - Japan.
