This agreement is part of the action of the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) to develop women's basketball in the world, a statement of the FRMBB said.
It provides for organizing a national caravan to promote this sport by women, in partnership with the ministry of National Education, Preschool and Sports. The aim is to allow 1,000 girls, aged 6 to 15, to play basketball in schools in rural and urban areas.
The program of this caravan features a set of activities on women's basketball, including basketball workshops 3X3, as well as a course for 50 coaches on the "sport for development" method.
