The host country does not provide for the needs and the most basic demands of the populations held against their will in the camps of Tindouf, where daily cases of gross violations of human rights are perpetrated by the "polisario" in full view of Algeria, said Hmyen, during the annual meeting of the C24.
She noted that the host country "has an enormous responsibility to protect the populations of these camps from the oppression to which they are subjected at the hands of an armed separatist group, which it has hosted and financed for nearly half a centuryā€¯.
She stressed that even the humanitarian aid provided by the UN and donor countries to the detained cvbn in the Tindouf camps are diverted by the mercenary group under the cover of the host country, saying that these aids are sold in markets for the personal enrichment of elements of the separatist group.
This reality has been proven by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees and the European Anti-Fraud Office (OLAF), she said.
