"The government has completed the first round of this dialogue by honoring all its commitments contained in the agreement signed last April 30 and which relate to the social component including the institutionalization of social dialogue, said Baitas at a press briefing held after the government council.
"We are preparing during this month to meet with representatives of central trade unions to assess the commitments made and reassure the trade unions and social partners on their proper compliance," he further noted.
This meeting will also be an opportunity to discuss many other issues that will be raised by the trade unions and social partners, he added, before assuring that "the government is willing to address them according to the means available and in accordance with the possibilities offered by the law.
The government spokesman also welcomed the patriotism, confidence and positive attitude shown by the unions, stressing that Morocco needs this momentum of cooperation in the current context.
