Thanks to the efforts of the Provincial Directorate of Equipment, Transport, Logistics, and Water, along with other stakeholders, six provincial roads and one national road have been reopened, Benmoussa told MAP.
Efforts were still underway at Kilometer Post 287 on National road 07, linking the communes of Ouled Berhil and Tizi Ntas, he added, noting that this route, which had experienced partial collapses, was now open to light vehicle traffic.
Following the earthquake that struck the province of Al Haouz and was felt in several towns across the Kingdom, the services of the Taroudant Provincial Directorate of Equipment, Transport, Logistics, and Water mobilized all available human and logistical resources to reopen the roads affected by the earthquake, ensuring the delivery of aid to the populations in the affected areas.
