"Whereas last year was marked by a succession of important diplomatic successes, 2024 kicks off with a historic recognition of Morocco's tireless efforts to promote human rights," the international relations expert told MAP.
This election is the fruit of the Kingdom's "resolute" action to strengthen these rights and consolidate the principles of the rule of law, as well as the major reforms carried out under the High Guidance of HM King Mohammed VI, noted Baratto, referring in particular to the 2011 Constitution, the Family Code and the promotion of social dialogue.
"Through this presidency, Morocco will further concretize its commitment in this area on the international scene, while remaining faithful to its values, the real driving force behind its growth and development," added the Italian expert.
