“His Majesty the King completely transformed the Kingdom. The progress is concrete at all levels,” Coulibaly, former Special Advisor to the President of Côte d'Ivoire, told MAP on the occasion of the glorious Throne Day.
The Sovereign has left a deep imprint on modern Morocco, which “has become one of the most democratic countries in Africa, thanks to numerous Royal actions and initiatives,” he added.
In this respect, Coulibaly highlighted the progress achieved in promoting freedoms and social equality, noting that respect for religious diversity is what makes Morocco unique, “a model country of tolerance and coexistence between religions.”
He also commended the Kingdom’s “recognized” efforts to promote the Islam of tolerance and justice, and to combat terrorism, radicalism and extremism.
The former Ivorian FM also pointed out that the exemplary partnership between Morocco and Côte d’Ivoire is today a model on the African scale, in that it is founded on a “win-win” vision.
