The two ministers stressed the importance of diversifying trade and the crucial role of Moroccan investment in Ivorian economic development.
On this occasion, Mezzour emphasized strengthening and development of economic relations built on friendship and fraternity between the two countries, in accordance with the High Royal Instructions aimed at consolidating commercial and economic ties with African countries.
Stressing the need to develop trade and the volume of investments, the minister noted that Côte d'Ivoire has important raw materials of great value for Morocco, essential for internalizing and optimizing its production chain.
Products manufactured in Côte d'Ivoire will be exported via the Moroccan industrial platform, he added, encouraging Moroccan investors to strengthen Morocco's industrial sovereignty.
For his part, Adom stated that this meeting focused on economic and commercial cooperation between the two countries, with particular emphasis on ways of improving these relations in a progressive and balanced manner.
He also highlighted Morocco's technological offer and the investment opportunities it offers, expressing his conviction that these commercial exchanges will further strengthen the historic and friendly relations between Morocco and Côte d'Ivoire.
