At the start of the ceremony, His Majesty the King saluted the Moroccan flag while the national anthem was playing and a 21-gun salute was fired.
The Sovereign was then greeted by a number of Moroccan and foreign personalities who came to extend their wishes to HM the King on this happy occasion.
The Sovereign received greetings from Head of Government Aziz Akhannouch, Speaker of the House of Representatives Rachid Talbi Alami, and Speaker of the House of Councilors Enaam Mayara.
HM the King also received greetings from the President-Delegate of the Supreme Council of the Judicial Power, First President of the Court of Cassation, Mohamed Abdennabaoui, the President of the Public Prosecutor's Office, King's Public Prosecutor General at the Court of Cassation, El Hassan Daki, the President of the Constitutional Court, Mohamed Amine Benabdellah, the First President of the Court of Auditors, Zineb El Adaoui, the President of the Economic, Social and Environmental Council, Ahmed Réda Chami, the Secretary General of the Higher Council of Ulema, Mohamed Yssef, the President of the Higher Council for Education, Training and Scientific Research, Habib El Malki and the President of the National Human Rights Council, Amina Bouayach.
The Sovereign was also greeted by the Kingdom's Ombudsman, Mohamed Benalilou, the Chairwoman of the High Authority for Audiovisual Communication, Latifa Akherbach, the Chairman of the Competition Council, Ahmed Rahhou, the Chairman of the National Authority for Probity, Prevention and the Fight against Corruption, Mohamed Bachir Rachdi, the President of the Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs, Khalihenna Ould Errachid, the Wali of the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima Region, Governor of the Tangier-Assilah Prefecture, Younès Tazi and the President of the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima Regional Council, Omar Moro.
HM the King was then greeted by Lieutenant General Mohamed Berrid, Inspector General of the Royal Armed Forces, Commander of the South Zone, Lieutenant General Mohamed Haramou, Commander of the Royal Gendarmerie, Air Division General Mohammed Gadih, Inspector of the Royal Air Force, Rear Admiral Mohamed Tahin, Inspector of the Royal Navy, Colonel Major Azzeddine Khalid, Head of the Third Bureau, Brigadier General Jabrane Khalid, Inspector of the Auxiliary Forces (North Zone), and Colonel Major Mustapha Hdiouad, Inspector of the Auxiliary Forces (South Zone).
HM the King was also greeted by Lieutenant General Abdelfettah Louarak, former Inspector General of the Royal Armed Forces, whom the Sovereign decorated with the Wissam al-Arch (Throne Medal) of exceptional class, and Major General Mimoun El Mansouri, former Commander of the Royal Guard, whom HM the King decorated with the Wissam al-Arch of first class (Grand Officer), as well as by Abdellatif Hammouchi, Director General of National Security and Director General of National Territorial Surveillance, and Mohamed Yassine El Mansouri, Director General of Studies and Documentation.
The Sovereign was also greeted by the dean of the African diplomatic corps, Ambassador of the Republic of Cameroon, Mohamadou Youssifou, the dean of the Arab diplomatic corps, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain, Khalid bin Salman Jabr Al-Musallam, the interim dean of the European diplomatic corps, Ambassador of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta, Julien-Vincent Brunie, the Dean of the American Diplomatic Corps, Ambassador of the Argentine Republic, Raúl Ignacio Guastavino, and the Interim Dean of the Asian Diplomatic Corps, Ambassador of Australia, Michael Cutts.
The Sovereign was also greeted by Monsignor Emilio Rocha Grande, Archbishop of Tangier, Pastor Ngole Kisuku Kasongo, Secretary General of the Evangelical Church in Morocco, Monsignor Maxim Massalitin, President of the Russian Orthodox Church, and Yossef Israel, Chief Rabbi of Casablanca.
Today's celebration by the Moroccan people of the 25th anniversary of the enthronement of HM King Mohammed VI is an opportunity for all the components of the Nation to reiterate their fidelity, their loyalty and their unwavering attachment to the Glorious Alaouite Throne.
