In a statement to MAP, Mouna noted that this High Royal Initiative, benefiting 4,831 people convicted, prosecuted, or wanted in cases related to cannabis cultivation, is likely to open new economic perspectives within the framework of regulating cannabis cultivation in Morocco.
He added that this noble Royal initiative provides an opportunity for economic reintegration for these cultivators while revitalizing the local economy and improving household incomes. He also noted that it contributes to consolidating Morocco’s position as a pioneer in developing innovative policies.
It is worth noting that on the occasion of the anniversary of the King and the People's Revolution, HM King Mohammed VI granted His Pardon to 4,831 people convicted, prosecuted, or wanted in cases related to cannabis cultivation who met the required conditions to benefit from the Pardon.
