This noble Royal gesture emanates from a King who is benevolent towards all His people, declared (B.R), one of the beneficiaries of this Pardon, noting that it is a High decision that will alleviate the social and psychological suffering of thousands of people and families from various regions of the province of Ouazzane and will improve their living conditions.
For (S.A), another beneficiary of the Royal Pardon, this Decision represents a major turning point for all the regions of the province of Ouazzane as it allows them to move forward towards a new stage and definitively break away from old illegal practices.
This magnanimous gesture once again confirms the High Royal Benevolence towards all members of His loyal people, even those in conflict with the law, added S.A, specifying that this Royal act gives the beneficiaries a new chance to break with the past.
This Pardon reflects the human nature of HM King Mohammed VI and the unique governance model that the Sovereign adopts, said (N.S), noting that the Royal Pardon for individuals convicted, prosecuted, or wanted in cases related to cannabis cultivation is just one example of the King’s foresight and great wisdom in managing the affairs of His loyal subjects.
On the occasion of the anniversary of the King and the People's Revolution, His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him, graciously granted His Pardon to 685 individuals, some of whom are in detention and others in freedom, who had been convicted by various courts in the Kingdom.
On this same glorious national occasion, His Majesty the King, may God preserve Him, graciously granted His Pardon to 4,831 people convicted, prosecuted, or wanted in cases related to cannabis cultivation who met the required conditions to benefit from the Pardon.
