This initiative is part of actions undertaken by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates to support Morocco's economic diplomacy on a continental scale, through the Moroccan Agency for International Cooperation (AMCI) and its partners, such as the General Confederation of Moroccan Companies (CGEM), the Professional Group of Moroccan Banks (GPBM), Casablanca Finance City (CFC) and the Moroccan Agency for the Development of Investment and Exports (AMDIE).
During this week, meetings are scheduled in Rabat, Casablanca and Dakhla with public institutions and private economic operators, the CGEM and sector federations, the GPBM, Casablanca Finance City and its business ecosystem, as well as Dakhla's Regional Investment Center (CRI).
The launch of this initiative was marked by talks between Ambassador, AMCI Director General Mohamed Methqal and a large economic delegation from Sierra Leone, visiting Morocco from October 28th to November 1st, 2024. The meeting, held at AMCI headquarters, aims to contribute to bolstering economic relations between the two countries.
Chaired by Director General at Sierra Leone's Ministry of Foreign Affairs Juana Tamba, the Sierra Leonean economic delegation includes the Director General of the Import-Export Federation, the Director General of Sierra Leone Employers Federation and several senior officials from public and private sectors.
