The talks, attended by the Saudi Ambassador in Rabat, the Military Attaché to the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Morocco, the Heads of Office of the FAR General Staff and Inspectors of the Royal Air Force and Royal Navy, focused on opportunities to further promote and strengthen military cooperation, a statement from the FAR General Staff said.
During the meeting, the two officials welcomed the positive track record of military cooperation between the two countries, including training and exchanges of visits.
Moroccan-Saudi military cooperation is regulated by the Military-Technical Cooperation Framework Agreement, signed in December 2015. This agreement covers training, defense industry, logistical support, transfer of military expertise, military medical services and exchange of visits.
