Since HM King Mohammed VI’s accession to the Throne and under His impetus, Morocco has massively invested in infrastructure and achieved deep reforms to modernize the country socially and politically, Mignot des Campani, who also chairs the Paris African Press Club, told MAP.
These breakthroughs are the fruit of the Sovereign's foresightedness, “which has enabled the emergence of an inventive strategic State, projecting itself into the long term, succeeding in its legitimate economic and social ambitions, and asserting itself internationally as a catalyst for the emergence of Africa,” the expert on African issues stressed.
Mignot des Campani also noted that the future Nigeria-Morocco gas pipeline, which will serve 13 coastal countries, “can be considered as the first strategic concretization of the Atlantic Initiative.”
