This joyful event, celebrated on November 19 every year, is the ideal opportunity to highlight the multiple and noble activities of HRH Princess Lalla Hasnaa, President of the Mohammed VI Foundation for Environmental Protection, who continues to stand out through her personal commitment in the fields of charity and diplomacy, as well as culture and climate.
On December 1, 2023, Her Royal Highness represented His Majesty King Mohammed VI at the World Climate Action Summit, held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, as part of the 28th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP28).
On December 6, HRH Princess Lalla Hasnaa, President of the Mohammed VI Foundation for Environmental Protection, visited The UAE House of Sustainability and the Kingdom of Morocco Pavilion at the 28th Conference of the Parties on Climate Change.
Also in connection with COP28, Her Royal Highness took part on December 8 in the first annual high-level meeting of the Greening Education Partnership initiative, organized by UNESCO and the UAE Ministry of Education.
This year on February 19, and on Very High Instruction from HM the King, TRH Princesses Lalla Meryem, Lalla Asmaa and Lalla Hasnaa were received for lunch at the Elysée Palace, at the invitation of Mrs. Brigitte Macron.
Later on May 21, 2024, HRH Princess Lalla Hasnaa chaired in Fez the Board of Mohammed VI Foundation for Environmental Protection, before inaugurating the renovated historic Lahboul Park in Meknes later the same day.
Three days later, in Fez, Her Royal Highness chaired the opening ceremony of the 27th Fez Festival of World Sacred Music, held under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, on the theme: “The quest for the Spirit of Al-Andalus”.
On October 14th, HRH Princess Lalla Hasnaa, President of the Foundation for the Safeguarding of Rabat's Cultural Heritage, chaired the Foundation's Board of Directors meeting.
On October 20 in Rabat, Her Royal Highness also presided over the 2024 Longines Global Champions Tour’s Show Jumping Grand Prix, a prestigious competition held for the first time in Africa, as part of the Morocco-Qatar 2024 Year of Culture.
On October 24, HRH Princess Lalla Hasnaa and H.E. Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad Al Thani presided over the gala dinner of the Fashion Trust Arabia at El Badii Palace in Marrakech, an event organized as part of the Qatar-Morocco Year of Culture 2024.
Thereafter on October 29, Her Royal Highness Princess Lalla Hasnaa, President of the Mohammed VI Foundation for Environmental Protection, and Mrs. Brigitte Macron visited Rabat's Botanical Test Gardens.
Later in the day, and on High Instructions of HM King Mohammed VI, HRH Princess Lalla Hasnaa, accompanied by Mrs. Brigitte Macron, inaugurated the Royal Theater of Rabat.
That evening, His Majesty King Mohammed VI, accompanied by HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan, HRH Prince Moulay Rachid and TRH Princesses Lalla Khadija, Lalla Meryem, Lalla Asmaa and Lalla Hasnaa, offered an official dinner at the Royal Palace in Rabat, in honor of the President of the French Republic, H.E. Mr. Emmanuel Macron and his spouse Mrs. Brigitte Macron.
On November 1, in Doha, Her Royal Highness Princess Lalla Hasnaa, accompanied by H.E. Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad Al-Thani, inaugurated Morocco's “Dar Al Maghrib” pavilion, a space immersed in Moroccan culture and history, set up to mark the Qatar-Morocco Year of Culture 2024.
Her Royal Highness Princess Lalla Hasnaa and H.E. Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad Al Thani then visited the “Splendours of the Atlas, voyage through Morocco's heritage” and “Ektashif: Morocco” exhibitions, held at the Museum of Islamic Art in Doha, also on the occasion of the Qatar-Morocco Year of Culture 2024.
