Renovation was conducted with a budget of 1.2 million Dirhams, including a contribution of 500,000 Dirhams from the National initiative for human development and 500,000 DH from the CDG fund.
With a capacity of 160 kids aged between 3 to 6 years, and supervised by competent educators, the building is adapted to small kids’ activities and pre-schooling education.
The president of the League Rabat-Sale section Inane Benyaich, said the project is very important for children of poor families.
It is part of seven institutions renovated by the section in poor neighbourhoods in Rabat and Sale. They receive some 1,000 children, including 80 pc coming from poor families.
She said income of the kindergarten will serve to balance the finance of the league other institutions and support the Lalla Meryem center for abandoned children which cares for some 200 abandoned children
The Princess then handed the international prize of the Peace organization to Ghizlane Bouhssoune who won the first « Ambassador of peace » prize during an international drawing contest.
