In this letter, the Sovereign extends his warmest congratulations and sincere wishes of health and happiness to the U.S. President, and of more progress and prosperity to the American people.

   HM the King expressed pride in the long-standing friendship between the two countries, reiterating his sincere will to further develop bilateral cooperation in various fields.

   The Sovereign also noted with great satisfaction the continuous and renewed dynamism of the strategic partnership between Morocco and the United States, especially after the successful talks held at the White House between HM the King and President Obama.

   In this regard, His Majesty welcomed the exchange of visits between the two countries' official to implement the roadmap developed as a result of these discussions, including the holding of the second session of the Moroccan-US Strategic Dialogue in Rabat.

   The Sovereign reiterated his determination to continue working with the American president to develop these ties, coordinate positions on various issues of common interest, and to find efficient solutions to address the regional and international security challenges and defend common universal values.
