Speaking on this occasion, president of the Diplomatic Foundation, Abdelaati Habek, said that the proceeds of this gala dinner, which has a humanitarian and charitable dimension, will be used for humanitarian and social purposes for the benefit of African emigrants living in Morocco to institutionalize their reception and preserve their dignity in accordance with the authentic Moroccan traditions and the policy drawn up by HM King Mohammed VI.
He underlined that the noble initiative of the Sovereign towards the African brothers and friends to regulate their situation in Morocco shows the fact that North African country is determined to go forward in its strategic choice vis-a-vis the African continent, as announced by HM the King in his speech last November on the occasion of the anniversary of the Green March, delivered from the Senegalese capital Dakar.
Upon her arrival, HRH Princess Lalla Hasnaa reviewed a detachment of the Municipal Guard, which made the honors, before being greeted notably by minister of Solidarity, Women, Family and Social Development, Bassima Hakkaoui, ambassador of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in Rabat, Ali Hassan El Kaid, wali of the Rabat-Salé-Kénitra region, governor of the Rabat prefecture, Abdelouali Leftit, and president of the diplomatic circle, spouse of Jordan's ambassador in Rabat, Mouna Rifai.
