The contribution is part of national solidarity and mobilization alongside public authorities to mitigate the repercussions of the coronavirus pandemic, the company pointed out in a press release.
While assuring customers and citizens of its solidarity and its unwavering commitment, Lydec underlined that "its collaborators will continue their mobilization, with the greatest sense of responsibility and duty to provide water, electricity, liquid sanitation and public lighting in the best conditions."
Lydec has decided, throughout the confinement period, to suspend cutting off the supply of water and electricity, without incurring additional costs.
From the start of the coronavirus outbreak, Lydec has undertaken several measures to prevent the spread of the virus among its employees, customers and partners, while observing the health and precautionary guidelines set out by the public authorities, the source said.
