According to the same source, 70 people died from coronavirus complications, while 76 others have recovered.

The suspected cases excluded following negative tests are 3,827, the source adds.

The confirmed cases were reported in the regions of Casablanca-Settat (295), Rabat-Salé-Kenitra (181), Marrakech-Safi (186), Fez-Meknes (133), Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima (78), Oriental (55), Draa-Tafilalet (41), Beni Mellal-Khenifra (28), Souss-Massa (19), Laayoune-Sakia El Hamra (4) and Guelmim-Oued Noun (1), the ministry says, adding that no case has been registered so far in the region of Dakhla-Oued Eddahab.

The ministry urges citizens to observe rules of hygiene, implement the precautionary measures issued by the public authorities, act with responsibility and show patriotism.
