According to a press release from the ministry, this operation, launched in partnership with the United Nations Population Fund, aims to provide social protection establishments in Rabat, Casablanca, Fez and Tangier with "Salama Kits" for hygiene and prevention of Covid-19.
This is a measure to preserve the health of this social category and to provide the necessary care and basic support to meet their needs, in the context of the fight against this new pandemic.
The launch will be accompanied, according to the same source, by the dissemination of a series of awareness-raising advertisements concerning the elderly and people with disabilities.
The ministry recalled that this operation, launched at the beginning of April, in support of measures taken by the Moroccan government to fight the pandemic of Coronavirus, had given priority in its first phase to pregnant women and health professionals, in particular the midwives, noting that the next steps will target social groups at risk, such as abused women, migrants and prisoners, especially pregnant women throughout the Kingdom.
