The secretary general of FOPREL Santiago Rivas Leclair stressed that "the Royal Initiative for the creation of the Special Fund for the Coronavirus pandemic management constitutes an international reference and will contribute greatly to ensuring preventive measures and combatting the pandemic, as well as reducing its negative economic and social repercussions".

Quoted in a press release from the House of Representatives, Rivas Leclair underlined the values ​​of solidarity shown by Morocco, highlighting the commitment of the Moroccan Parliament in efforts to mitigate the repercussions of this pandemic.

According to the same source, the Forum also praised the unprecedented courageous and pragmatic measures taken by HM King Mohammed VI to stem the spread of the new Coronavirus.
