Covid-19: SALAMA Operation Phase IV for Education Executives Launched

Rabat - The Ministry of National Education, Vocational Training, Higher Education and Scientific Research and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) are jointly launching the Phase IV of the SALAMA operation, to assist the ministry's executives involved in the response to the Covid-19 pandemic.

"Salama Kits" for hygiene and coronavirus prevention will be made available for teachers involved in the development of content for distance learning for the benefit of students, as well as ministry's executives involved in this dynamic, said a joint press release from Ministry and the United Nations Fund.

These kits aim to raise awareness about good practices for a better prevention and to provide advices and measures to be followed in order to meet the specific needs of the personnel of the Department of National Education.

The department and UNFPA are leading a strategic partnership which will strengthen access to education and health information adapted to the needs of young people, it stressed.
