"Due to its strategic position, the Kingdom constitutes a bridge between Europe and Africa and a crossroads of civilizations," said the Slovenian Institute in a study on Morocco posted on its website.
The Kingdom's economic achievements make it a reliable partner for Europe and the United States, and have also enabled it to strengthen its position in certain sectors at the regional and international levels, notably in sea and land transport, infrastructure and renewable energy, noted the same source.
Morocco, under the insightful leadership of HM King Mohammed VI and thanks to the large-scale initiatives and projects launched by the Sovereign, has experienced great progress, it stressed.
Morocco and the EU have developed over years solid and in-depth relations, making Morocco the first country in the Mediterranean region to benefit from an advanced status and a pioneer of the European neighborhood policy, underlined the Institute.
After reviewing the reforms undertaken by Morocco, IFIMES affirmed that the Kingdom has adopted an objective approach oriented towards development in various fields, supported by a legal arsenal and laws for the liberalization of the economy, the restructuring of the financial system and the strengthening of the rule of law.
