During an audience granted Tuesday to the Moroccan ambassador in Bamako, Hassan Naciri, Mr. Timbiné welcomed the achievements of bilateral cooperation, noting that the Moroccan economic presence in Mali is itself an appreciable support for his country.
"The particular character of these relations was highlighted in the best way when late King Hassan II spoke of the Malian exception," he underlined.
"All the Kings of Morocco since independence until now have left indelible traces in cooperation and understanding between our brotherly and friendly peoples," he pointed out.
Parliamentary institutions in the two countries are called upon to increase efforts to enhance this historic legacy and turn it into opportunities at all levels, he said.
Talks also focused on bilateral relations, which witnessed a significant development following the two Royal visits to Mali in 2013 and 2014.
