In view of the controlled evolution of the epidemiological and health situation linked to Covid 19 in the Kingdom, made possible thanks to the combined and continous efforts of citizens, the administration and all the components of Moroccan society; almost all of the nearly 700 active Covid-19 cases counted on a national level are in a reassuring and stable state of health, underlined the press release, specifying that this grouping aims in particular to free the hospitals of the Kingdom to treat other patients.
"Instead of keeping these Covid positive cases spread across hospitals in the Kingdom, which must be freed to treat patients with other illnesses, and given the need to protect them as well as their family and professional environment, while providing them with the necessary health care, it was decided to group them, as well as the future detected positive cases, in two specialized health facilities, located respectively in Benslimane and in Ben Guérir", explained the same source, noting that these facilities devoted to the management of the Covid 19, which will offer all the conditions of adequate accommodation and appropriate medical surveillance, will be managed jointly by civilian and military doctors and in the best conditions, like the effective collaborative management carried out so far.
This grouping will be accompanied by the continuation of massive screening measures for all contact persons, as well as at the level of businesses and professional workplaces throughout the national territory, the source added.
This measure will accelerate, as of June 20, the process of gradual lifting of quarantine restrictions, while taking into account the evolution of the epidemiological situation of the Kingdom, the joint press release concluded.
