This meeting, which will be held after the weekly session of oral questions, will examine and then vote on Bill 72.18 which was adopted on June 11 by the Committee of the Interior, local authorities and infrastructure, sources from the house's bureau said.
In a statement issued at the end of a meeting held on Monday, the bureau stressed the importance of the exceptional stage that the Kingdom is going through, while noting the strategic working approach of the upper house of the parliament, which has enabled a proactive interaction with the challenges linked to the state of health emergency.
It concerns finding mechanisms and working methods in line with the constitutional principles laying the framework for parliamentary action and bringing innovative answers to the problems generated by the current context, they added.
On parliamentary diplomacy, the bureau of the House of Advisors took note of the scheduling of a meeting on Wednesday by the Executive Office of the parliamentary network for food security in Africa and the Arab world.
Initiated with the participation of the UN Food and Agriculture Organization, the meeting will focus on the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on food security in African and Arab regions.
