In an article entitled "Morocco, promoter of peace, security and stability in Africa", the newspaper "La Razon" underlines that the Kingdom of Morocco has hosted Libyan Dialogue meetings between the delegations of the High Council of State and the Parliament of Tobruk, which were aimed at "strengthening stability, putting an end to political division and building a democratic state.”
The Peruvian media also highlighted the establishment in Morocco of a Program Office for Counter-Terrorism and Training in Africa of the United Nations Office of Counter-Terrorism (UNOCT), as well as "the recognition by the United States of Moroccan cooperation in the fight against terrorism in North Africa, so as to contribute to its security and development".
For its part, the information website "Prensa21" noted that through the Libyan Dialogue held in Bouznika, the parties to the conflict reiterated their appreciation for the efforts of Morocco "which made it possible to overcome the obstacles, in order to reach genuine Libyan agreements, in accordance with the provisions of the Libyan Political Agreement".
The website noted that the visit to Morocco last week by US Secretary of Defense Mark Esper reflects his country's recognition of the Kingdom as a major partner in issues of security, intelligence and the fight against terrorism.
