"We welcome the progress made in the second round of the Libyan Dialogue held in Bouznika, where the Libyan parties were able to meet thanks to the mediating initiative of Morocco", the Japanese embassy in Rabat underlines in its official Facebook page.
"We hope that the results of this dialogue will bring a reinforced dynamism so as to consolidate the ceasefire in Libya which would be permanent, and advancing the political process to resolve the Libyan crisis", it adds.
The second round of the Libyan Dialogue, held in Bouznika, brought together delegations from the High Council of State and the Libyan House of Representatives.
The two delegations stressed, Tuesday, that this round ended with comprehensive agreements on the criteria and mechanisms for filling sovereignty positions.
The two sides underlined, in a final declaration issued at the end of this round that "the outcome of the dialogue between the two delegations constitutes a contribution on which it is possible to capitalize, to strengthen stability in the country and put an end to the institutional division".
In the final declaration, the two delegations expressed "their determination to continue their consultative meetings, in the Kingdom of Morocco, in order to coordinate the action of political, executive and control institutions, thus ensuring the end of the transitional period".
