"I welcome the initiative of dialogue in favor of peace and stability in Libya led by the Kingdom of Morocco," Pociej wrote in a letter addressed to Morocco's Ambassador to Poland, Abderrahim Atmoun.
He welcomed the fruitful negotiations held as part of the inter-Libyan dialogue in Bouznika between the various Libyan parties, stressing the role of Moroccan diplomacy.
Pociej, who chairs the Human Rights Committee at the Polish Senate, also praised the actions of HM the King in favor of stability in the Mediterranean region, stressing that the crises recently faced by Europe, such as the migration crisis have shown - among other things - that stability in North Africa is the keystone for European security.
A second round of the inter-Libyan dialogue was organized on Oct. 02-06 in Bouznika.
In the final statement that crowned this meeting held under the UN auspices, the delegations of the High Council of State and of the House of Representatives of Libya announced comprehensive agreements on the criteria and mechanisms for holding key positions, provided for in Article 15 of the Libyan Political Agreement of Skhirat.
