This second round, which brought together delegations from the High Council of State and the House of Representatives, aims to find a solution to "the chaotic internal situation in Libya," "PanOrient News" wrote on its website.
Quoting Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita, the media outlet stressed that both parties showed "determination to continue their consultative meetings, in the Kingdom of Morocco, in order to coordinate the action of political, executive and control institutions, thus ensuring the end of the transitional period."
In the final declaration that crowned the second round of the Inter-Libyan dialogue, the delegations of the High Council of State and the House of Representatives announced comprehensive agreements on the criteria and mechanisms for occupying posts of sovereignty, provided for in Article 15 of the Libyan Skhirat Political Agreement.
The two delegations specified that "the results of the dialogue between the two delegations constitute an input on which it is possible to capitalize, to establish stability in the country and put an end to the institutional division," "PanOrient News" concluded.
