This operation, carried out on the basis of precise information provided by the services of the General Directorate of Territorial Surveillance, took place in a residential area in Larache, National Police (DGSN) said in a statement, adding that policemen intercepted a freight transport truck, driven by one of the two brothers.

The vehicle search led to the discovery of 9,000 psychotropic tablets in the possession of the suspects.

The suspects, aged 27 and 36, were placed on custody pending investigations led under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor's office.
