This meeting was an occasion for the wali of the Marrakech-Safi region, governor of the prefecture of Marrakech Karim Kassi-Lahlou and the French ambassador to Morocco Hélène Le Gal to highlight the depth of Moroccan-French relations in all areas.
During this meeting, the two parties reviewed the rich potential boasted by the region and which constitutes a real lever for development, with a focus on promising sectors capable of offering great opportunities to French investors.
On this occasion, Le Gal, who was accompanied by the Consul General of France in Marrakech, and the Director General of the French Institute in Morocco, underlined the excellent historical ties between France and Morocco, noting that these links should be strengthened in all areas.
In this context, the French diplomat expressed her admiration for the city which witnessed an economic boom, noting that Marrakech, given its strategic geographical position, represents an attractive city for investments.
For his part, Kassi-Lahlou stressed that the city is an important economic and tourist hub, that had experienced great development in terms of infrastructure and structuring projects capable of opening up promising prospects for foreign investment in all sectors, expressing the commitment of local authorities to support this dynamic, through the conclusion of agreements and partnerships.
