One Ton of Cannabis Resin Seized by Royal Navy Off Ksar-Sghir

Rabat - A coast guard of the Royal Navy foiled on Wednesday in the Strait of Gibraltar, in collaboration with the radar stations located on the adjacent coast, a drug trafficking operation off the coast of Ksar-Sghir, a military source said.

The operation led to the arrest of three Spanish traffickers and the seizure of one ton of cannabis resin, according to the same source.

The drug traffickers, the equipment and the drug seized were brought back to the port of Ksar-Sghir and handed over to the Royal Gendarmerie for the usual procedures, it added.
