The Rotary club of Benslimane, sponsored by the Rotary Club of Casablanca, was admitted to the Rotary International with a view to advancing understanding between peoples, the values of altruism and respect for peace through friendly relations between its members.
The Rotary club of Benslimane is now part of the global network of more than 1.2 million solidarity-based decision-makers and 34,000 clubs which are taking action to serve and bring lasting change in the world, in their community and in themselves.
Speaking on this occasion, the governor of the province of Benslimane, Samir El Yazidi, expressed his satisfaction with the creation of the Rotary club of Benslimane and for its sustained action in favor of strengthening cooperation with all Rotary members of the Kingdom, noting that Morocco is strongly involved in all initiatives that contribute to the achievement of the well-being of humanity.
For his part, the president of the Rotary club of Benslimane, Rachid Taya, said he was happy to join the Rotary International, noting that "the Rotary club of Casablanca has given us support and assistance to set up this club in Benslimane".
For his part, the president of the Rotary Club of Casablanca Abdesselam Alami indicated that the Rotary's strategic aspects aim to contribute to human development, particularly in the field of health, the development of local economies, education, the supply of drinking water, the fight against illiteracy and the preservation of the environment.
