A financial subsidy of 90,000 dirhams will be granted for each cooperative under this Program in two phases, the first of 30,000 dirhams from next September and the second of 60,000 from October, said Abbas at the launching ceremony of this $ 3 million program.
The Program targets 250 cooperatives in the mountainous provinces of Beni Mellal, Azilal and khénifra, which means 83 cooperatives per province, said Abbas, noting that the subsidies granted should be used and spent to finance the cooperative's growth needs.
Cooperatives eligible for this Program must comply with Law 112-12, in operation for at least one year, must have between five and fifteen members and must be inclusive of women, young people and people with special needs.
To benefit from this Program, they must also be active in the sectors of agriculture, local products, crafts, ecological sustainable tourism, trade and services, she said.
