Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra: Opening of Five Additional Vaccination Centers

Laayoune - The vaccination centers in the Laâyoune-Sakia El-Hamra region were strengthened, on Tuesday, with the opening of five additional centers to speed up the vaccination process, in coordination between the local authorities and the health sector, for the benefit of the citizens of the region.

This approach is part of the expansion of the base of beneficiaries of vaccination against the new Coronavirus to reach the age group of 25 years and over.

The interim regional health director in Laâyoune, Rachid Ahl Sbai stressed that the strengthening of vaccination centers with the establishment of five additional centers, including two centers in Laâyoune, one in Es-Semara, one in Boujdour and another one in Tarfaya, aims to speed up the process of vaccination against Covid-19.

Ahl Sbai added that all vaccination centers will remain open until 8 p.m., 7 days a week, in order to help employees who can not go to the vaccination centers during working hours.
