4-Magnitude Earthquake Recorded Off Driouch Coast

Rabat - An earthquake with a 4-magnitude on the Richter scale was recorded Sunday in the province of Driouch, said the National Institute of Geophysics (ING).

The earthquake, whose epicenter is located off the coast of the province of Driouch, occurred at 11h48min18sec (GMT+1), said the ING National Seismic Monitoring and Alarm Network in a seismic alarm bulletin.

The tremor took place 13 km deep, with a latitude of 35.416 °N and longitude of 3.504°W, the source added.
