3.6-Magnitude Quake Recorded Off Driouch Coast

Rabat - An earthquake with a 3.6-magnitude on the Richter scale was recorded Monday in the province of Driouch, said the National Institute of Geophysics (ING).

The earthquake, whose epicenter is located off the coast of the province of Driouch, occurred at 9h49min29sec a.m. (GMT+1), said the ING National Seismic Monitoring and Alarm Network in a seismic alarm bulletin.

The tremor took place 16 km deep, with a latitude of 35.546 °N and longitude of 3.604°W, the source added.
