The suspect, who has a criminal record for drug cases, was arrested in the Yacoub Mansour district in Rabat, National Police (DGSN) said in a statement.

Searches carried out at the suspect’s home in Ain Atiq, near Temara, led to the seizure of 20 kg of cannabis resin, 26 grams of cocaine and 1,141 psychotropic tablets in addition to cell phones, a vehicle and a sum of money suspected of coming from this criminal activity.

The man was taken to custody while investigations are underway under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor’s office, the statement adds.
