"Following the posting on social networks, on Friday August 6, 2021, of a video showing a candidate in elections distributing banknotes to a group of people, the Public Prosecutor's Office in Guelmim ordered, as soon as it learned of the existence of this video, an investigation to be carried out by the Judicial Police," said the public prosecutor at the court of first instance in Guelmim, in a press release.

Upon the completion of this investigation, a legal action will be taken in the light of its conclusions, in full compliance with the law, the press release said.
