In addition to the Moroccan team, this football competition will see the participation of Wadi Degla FC (Egypt), AS Mandé (Mali), Hasaacas Ladies FC (Ghana), Rivers Angels (Nigeria), Sundowns Ladies (South Africa), Vihiga Queens (Kenya) and Malabo King FC (Equatorial Guinea).
The eight confirmed teams will be divided into two groups. Those ranking first and second of each group will advance to the semi-finals.
AS FAR women's team has been eight times champion of Morocco (2013, 2014, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021) and won seven times Morocco's Throne Cup (2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019).
