AS FAR to Take Part in 1st CAF Women's Champions League Competition

Cairo - AS FAR is among the eight teams that will participate in the inaugural TotalEnergies CAF Women's League competition, scheduled to take place in Egypt in November 2021, said the Confederation of African Football (CAF).

In addition to the Moroccan team, this football competition will see the participation of Wadi Degla FC (Egypt), AS Mandé (Mali), Hasaacas Ladies FC (Ghana), Rivers Angels (Nigeria), Sundowns Ladies (South Africa), Vihiga Queens (Kenya) and Malabo King FC (Equatorial Guinea).

The eight confirmed teams will be divided into two groups. Those ranking first and second of each group will advance to the semi-finals.

AS FAR women's team has been eight times champion of Morocco (2013, 2014, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021) and won seven times Morocco's Throne Cup (2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019).
