Mbarka Bouaida (RNI) Re-elected President of Guelmim-Oued Noun Regional Council

Guelmim - Mbarka Bouaida, from the National Rally of Independents (RNI), was re-elected on Tuesday as President of the Council of the Guelmim-Oued Noun region.

Bouaida received 28 votes out of 39 during a meeting chaired by the region's wali Mohamed Najem Abhay.

Six vice-presidents, together with the regional Council's secretary and his deputy, were also elected during this meeting.

The Authenticity and Modernity Party (PAM) ranked first in the elections in this region's Council with 12 seats, followed by the RNI with 10 seats.
