This edition will pay tribute to the cinema of the Sultanate of Oman, by receiving a number of producers and filmmakers from this Gulf country, the organizing Assa Film and Theater Association said in a statement.

Several activities are on the program of this festival, including the official short film competition of short films, screeing of films, in addition to symposia and workshops on the film industry.

This festival is organized with the aim of contributing to the strengthening of artistic and cultural scene in the region and consolidating cultural relations between peoples.
