The exhibition, initiated by the Center and the Embassy of Morocco in Chile in Coquimbo (460km north of Santiago), brings together 46 works of thirty Moroccan and Latin American artists under the theme "Brotherhood with Ecology, Save the Planet and its Peoples".
Speaking on this occasion, the mayor of Coquimbo, Ali Manouchehri, said that this initiative strengthens "the multi-culturality" of his city and sensitizes citizens to the great challenges of climate change.
The Mohammed VI Cultural Center helps to achieve the ambition of Coquimbo to become a city of art and a cultural destination par excellence, he added.
For her part, the Moroccan ambassador to Chile, Kenza El Ghali, stressed the commitments made by Morocco to the environment, through the organization of two Conferences of the Parties (COP) and the promotion of renewable, solar and wind energies, in addition to green hydrogen.
El Ghali also stressed Morocco's commitment to peace and dialogue among civilizations. The presence of this Center in Chile is a proof among others of this commitment of the Kingdom in favor of the great principles of tolerance, coexistence and mutual respect, said El Ghali.
