El Guerguarat/Bir Gandouz: ONEE Launches Projects Totalling 300 Mln DH

El Guerguarat - Director General of ONEE (National Office of Electricity and Drinking Water), Abderrahim El Hafidi, launched Saturday large-scale projects in El Guerguarat and Bir Gandouz of nearly 300 million dirhams, on the occasion of the 46th anniversary of the Green March.

As such, ONEE has scheduled several projects in the province of Aousserd to support the socio-economic development of municipalities and emerging centers.

These projects come in response to the growing need for electrical energy, drinking water, and liquid sanitation in line with the economic and social dynamics of the region.

Regarding the electricity sector, several partnership agreements were inked between ONEE, the province of Aousserd, the region of Dakhla-Oued Eddahab, the municipality of Bir Gandouz, the Agency for the Promotion of the Economic and Social Development of the Kingdom's Southern Provinces and the Directorate General of Local Authorities.
