In the presence of Morocco's Ambassador to Portugal, Othmane Behnini, Qotbi met the Portuguese minister of Culture, Graça Fonseca. Their talks allowed for the examination of means to establish partnerships between the Foundation and other various Portuguese museum institutions.

Qotbi presented, to the Portuguese minister, the Foundation's ambitious program to implement HM King Mohammed VI's vision in making culture a vector for development and a universal link for better understanding between peoples.

For her part, the Portuguese minister recalled the strong historical and cultural ties that unite Morocco and her country, committing to further consolidate bilateral cooperation "because culture is the best way to perpetuate this common heritage."
