The suspect was caught aboard a car at the rest area connecting Tangier to Kenitra, National Police (DGSN) said in a statement, adding that searches led to the seizure of 6,000 psychotropic tablets.

The man was taken into custody pending investigation led under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor's office.
