In its daily briefing on the pandemic, the Ministry noted that the number of people who have received their first Covid-19 vaccine reached 24,437,002 and those who got two jabs amounted to 22,718,820, while 1,806,501 people received their booster shot.

The total number of COVID-19 cases reported since the start of the outbreak of the virus stands at 950,643, while recoveries rise to 933,043, i.e. a recovery rate of 98.1%.

The new COVID-19 cases were reported in the regions of Rabat-Salé-Kénitra (23), Casablanca-Settat (15), Souss-Massa (6), Marrakech-Safi (4), Beni Mellal-Khenifra (3) and Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima (1).

The number of active cases stands at 2,806, including 106 people in a critical or severe condition, the ministry said.
