Qualifiers U20 Women's World Cup (3rd Round): Atlas Lions Defeat The Gambia (3-1)
Rabat - The Moroccan women's Under-20 national team defeated its Gambian counterpart by 3 to 1, on Monday in Rabat in the first leg of the third round of the World Cup qualifiers (African zone).
The goals of the national team were scored by Sofia Bouftini (2nd minute), Kawtar Mahy (15th), and Oumayma El Amrani (55th), while Fatoumata Jammeh scored the only goal for The Gambia (56th).
The return leg is scheduled for Dec. 12 in Rabat.
